The Bootlegger’s Ball turns the rustic second floor venue into a roaring speakeasy pulsing with live jazz, prohibition-style cocktails, daring characters, entertainment, games of chance, and appetizers to keep the night rolling.
Guests are encouraged to DRESS THE PART with a little or a lot of vintage flare!
Your host for the evening, the fabulous Ms. Fanny Luphine of House of Hush Burlesque, will guide you through a night of entertainment straight out of the Prohibition era. She’ll be joined by her dazzling Flapper co-stars and the smooth sounds of the MacEwan Music Club Jazz Ensemble.
In true speakeasy style, expect the unexpected. The incredible Chris Gowen, renowned magician and entertainer, will mystify guests with a private performance and in-crowd illusions that bring the spirit of intrigue to life!
Throughout the night, enjoy tasty delights, craft cocktails, games of chance, and a few surprises hidden in the shadow. Every sip, laugh, and trick supports 26 charities through the Jerry Forbes Centre Foundation.
